EUROSUNMED Solar Festival 21 March 2017 in Cairo, Egypt

Solar Festival on the 21 March 2017 at Helwan University, Cairo in Egypt.

 

In addition to the industrial workshop, a Solar Festival was also organized by HELWAN University, within the Engineering Faculty. Around 1000 students were invited to attend this festival, in order to meet industrials stakeholders and nationals authorities (Ministry of Military Production, NREA) during open air booths and live exchanges. 
 
During the festival, the following activities occured:
• Open air booths were made available to facilitate students and industrial stakeholders interviews,
• Students booths with solar energy activities,
• Short panel discussions on solar energy issues animated by national and foreign speakers,

• A "Sun contest" gathering solar-oriented projects carried out by engineering students was also organized
• The inauguration of the demonstration plant located in the Engineering Faculty of Helwan University
